This is an armor decoration based on the armor said to have been worn by Lord Yukimura Sanada, who is well known as "The best Samurai warlord of Japan."
This awesome armor decoration was carefully handcrafted by Munemitsu Nakamura, a traditional craftsman. One of the most eye-catching features is the deer antlers on the helmet. These antlers are decorated with gold leaf, so that they create a luxurious impression. Furthermore, the red color of the armor gives it a strong and heroic appearance.
Yukimura Sanada is a Samurai warlord of Medieval Japan. His symbolic mark is six coins; it is said to mean his will to fight with determination. In the battle of Osaka, he fought on the side of his lord Toyotomi until the end. His loyal character is the reason many people love him until these days.
