This is a beautiful standing armor statue of Ieyasu Tokugawa, the warrior who put an end to the Warring States Period in Japan. It was carefully handcrafted by Munemitsu Nakamura, a traditional craftsman of Sekku dolls, based on period research and meticulous attention to detail. It is a stunningly magnificent piece that makes the viewer feel the spirit of a samurai.
